For agencies
Joining, receiving briefs, offers, delivery and getting paid: the questions agencies ask most.
Joining
How do I join? Apply at matchii.ai/agency/signup, confirm your email with the code, complete the questionnaire and documents, submit for review. Three to seven business days. See Verification.
Which documents do you accept? Certificate of incorporation, tax ID, a government ID of the signatory, proof of address, the register of directors, and a recent invoice, reference list or proof pack.
I was rejected. Can I try again? Yes. The reason is shown in the portal; revise and resubmit.
Receiving briefs
Why am I not receiving briefs? Three things gate it: your agency must be Approved, the brief’s category must be one of yours, and your Accepting offers switch must be on. Check all three on your profile. See Scoring & ranking.
How do I pause briefs while we are at capacity? Turn off Accepting offers. An owner does it from the portal. Existing engagements continue.
Does my trust tier decide which briefs I get? Not today. It is evidence shown to the team and to clients; approval and categories decide what reaches you. See Verification.
How do I add a category? Tell the team. Categories are set at approval and changing them is a review, not a form. See Categories.
Can I edit my profile? Name, categories, status and tier are set by Matchii. You manage your team and your accepting-offers switch. See Agency profiles.
Where do I put my portfolio? The questionnaire takes portfolio and showcase links. Your profile’s real portfolio is your track record from delivered work. See Portfolios.
Offers
Does accepting win the brief? No. Accepting places a standing bid; the client chooses among the agencies that accepted. See Accept / decline.
Do I see the client’s price? No, and you never will. You see your fee, fixed at the moment you accept.
Is declining held against me? No. Give the reason; it improves what you are sent next. Accepting work you then cannot deliver is what hurts.
Can I withdraw after accepting? Yes, before the client chooses, with a reason.
Delivery
Who moves the delivery board? You do. The client reads and comments. See Delivering work.
Can I change the milestone plan? Not directly. The client writes it; after confirmation, material changes come to you as change requests you approve or decline.
How do I get a milestone paid? Submit it for review with a message and evidence. The client’s acceptance releases the tranche in the same step. Changes requested means revise and resubmit; no money moves.
Do clients see the hours we log? No. Work logs and staffing are visible to your agency and Matchii only, and do not change the fee.
Money
When is the money mine? When the client accepts the milestone. “Awarded” is your fee on won offers; “available” is what has been released minus what you withdrew. See Earnings and payouts.
How do I withdraw? An owner requests a payout from the available balance. No minimum. The team settles it by hand and records the reference; a failed transfer returns the amount to your balance.
What happens to my fee if the engagement is cancelled? Released tranches stay yours. Unreleased escrow returns to the client. Submit milestones as you finish them so the exposure stays at one milestone.
Team
Who can do what? Owners run the agency: invites, review submission, change requests, payouts. Members work briefs. Custom roles grant specific permissions in between. See Your team.
How do I add a colleague? Invite them by email from Team. Their login is created when they accept and prove the mailbox.
Will I get an email when a client accepts a milestone? No. Plan changes, submissions and decisions show live in the portal. New offers and invitations do come by email.
