Earnings and payouts

What your fee is, when it becomes yours, and how you withdraw it.

Your earnings page shows two numbers, and the difference between them is the whole model.

Awarded and available

• Awarded is the sum of your fee on the offers you won. The fee is the amount you accepted on the offer, fixed at that moment; the client’s price is a different number and is never shown to you, on the offer or anywhere else. Matchii’s commission is whatever sits between the two, on the client’s side.
• Available is what the client has actually released, milestone by milestone, minus what you have already withdrawn.

An award moves nothing on its own. Money becomes yours only when the client accepts a milestone, which releases that milestone’s tranche. See Delivering work for the acceptance step.

Withdrawing

An owner requests a payout from the available balance; members cannot. There is no minimum. The request is settled by the Matchii team, who wire the money and record the reference against the request, so a payout shows one of three states:

Settlement is a manual step today, which is why it is a request rather than a button that moves money instantly.

What does not affect your fee

• Effort. Hours and costs you log are yours and Matchii’s; they do not change the fee.
• Tier. The client’s choice of Essential, Professional or Premium set the price before you saw the offer; your fee already reflects it.
• Plans. The Plans page in your portal describes pricing for agencies as an editorial page; there is no subscription behind it today and nothing on it takes money. What governs the briefs you receive is your approval, your categories and your accepting-offers switch, and your trust tier is earned from delivery, never bought.
