How we hire
What to send, what the conversations look like, and what you can expect from us at each step.
What to send
Write to hello@matchii.ai with the word “Careers” in the subject and three things: what you would do here, one piece of work you are proud of with a sentence on why, and where you are based. A CV is welcome but not required. A short, specific note reads better than a long, general one.
The conversations
The process is short, and we tell you at the end of each step whether there is a next one.
- Introduction. A call with the person you would work most closely with. Bring questions about the team, the product and the role; expect the same about your work.
- The work. A conversation about a concrete problem from the job. For engineers this is usually a piece of code you have written, walked through together, or a small exercise agreed in advance and done on your own time. For other roles it is a case from the actual business.
- The team. A call with the wider team about how you collaborate, disagree and handle ambiguity.
After the last conversation
You hear from us within a few working days, whichever way it went. An offer comes in writing with salary, start date and everything else that matters, and we will talk about it. If you would like feedback after a no, ask and you will get it.
Accommodations
If any part of this is harder for you than it should be, whether that is the format, the timing or the tools, say so in your first email. We will change the process rather than ask you to work around it.
